<Artifact 9> Module 6 Risk Register.pdf

Understanding the risks of any project allows for appropriate planning. Utilizing a risk register allows for that process to be a breeze.

In all projects, there are risks. In this module, module 9, we covered two major parts of risks in this module, risk assesment and PERT. In the risk assesment, we talked about identifying risks. This live action that is continually updated and should have a main stage like in a virtual room is a vital place where all risk that could happen are listed, graded, and addressed. The register above is a small list of what it would look like where the liklihood and impact are addressed to a risk. This liklihood and impact product creates the risk score where the risk class can be addressed. The response is then said on how to handle the issue if at hand and also addresses who the risk owner is. The other part of this module was PERT. This quanatitive approach to risk analysis analyzis the budget of the budget and schedule with the addition of an opptimistic and pessimistic estimation. This allows us to create a expected time formaticlly. From this, the probability of compeleting the project in a desired time can be calculated.

No major feedback was given on this assignment after being graded.

More on the risk assesment, this allowed, again, for the critical thinking to be utilized as you think about what issue could be presented in your project from just simple weather to a equipment issue. Being able to reconize issues and risks that will come up and identify those that might come up is a critical role in an project that happens for liability to just making sure you can do it again.
